Today I was on a bike ride when I saw birds. I see birds in my backyard often and one bird looks like the same bird I see each time. I was about halfway through my street and I could see the dark birds soaring in the sky. They looked so beautiful, majestic, and magical.

At first two birds of the same size were following another. Then one small bird was following a bigger bird-that one looked like the one I always see. Then I saw multiple birds flying solitary.

This week’s message at my church was about “A Life of Living With God”

What I saw is what is called a natural revelation. It is when God speaks to humans through nature, through his creation.

At one point, I saw two big birds of the same size flying together, again of the same kind I always see. At that moment God spoke to me and I felt him saying, “We should live together like this.”

As believers in God, I realized we should live with God, we shouldn’t just live believing in him. Or just living our own lives while God chases after us, trying to get our attention.

When you believe in something or someone, you live with them right? That belief becomes a part of you. Therefore, we should live in God and God in us.

We have to receive the Holy Spirit and realize how beautiful and joyful a life of living, conversing, and praying with God is. We should seek God, call him, and pay attention to him. We should give him all of our love and converse with him asking him “God what should I do?” throughout our day or “God what’s the best way to do this?”, “God what do you think about this?”

God is a divine being who is always next to us and loves us immensely but do we realize that? That is why we must love and seek God first. Then we will connect with God, feel God, and realize he is speaking to us and working in our lives.

It’s like this: For example, say there is a boy who really loves this girl and is always catering to her. If that girl never even bats an eye at him she will never know how much effort he makes and how much he truly loves her. She will go on ignoring him in her daily life, not realizing the love of her life has been right before her this whole time.

How much greater is God’s love for us! I dare say God is the greatest love of our lives.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

I heard you God and I love you. I pray that I’ll be more than a believer, but someone who truly lives everyday with you, at the highest degree of love, that I may have the most intimate relationship of love with you. I confess and affirm this.

This is a heavenly love that is eternal. God never relents his love. It’s why I cling to him with my life; it’s truly the best way to live. Everything in life is better with God as my center. He is my source of love.
